Position Summary:

The House Manager is a mid-level management, salaried, exempt supervisory position. The House Manager continues to learn the agency policies, procedures, practices, operating rules, and expectations of a supervisor while managing daily operations of a site (or multiple sites) within RWC. Responsibilities include overseeing daily life activities of clients, ensuring their health and safety through management and DSP support, managing DSP schedules, training, and implementation of Individual Support Plans (ISPs), supporting Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs), budgeting, money management, overseeing medical needs, and emergency response.

The House Manager participates in meetings, including ISPs, county meetings, on-sites, and agency meetings. Qualified applicants demonstrate leadership, professionalism, strong communication and computer skills, the ability to multitask, work successfully in a team, and knowledge of ISP/PBSP processes, OARs, and RWC policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Approval to work after a background check through the State of Oregon
  • Positive and supportive attitude
  • Flexible hours/40 hours per week, including on-call rotation
  • High school diploma or GED (college degree can substitute for 1 year of experience)
  • Valid Oregon driver’s license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Experience using Therap
  • Capable of responding to and handling emergencies
  • 1+ years experience in developmental disability/mental health field preferred
  • 1+ years experience in a leadership/management role preferred

Schedule:

Monday-Friday: Day, Swing, Evening, Night shifts, On-Call, Overtime
Weekends: as needed
