Ashton’s Animals
In honor of a life gone too soon, Ashton’s family set up a fund to assist other animal-loving residents of RWC.
Ashton's Animal fund has helped people supported by RWC, including Ashton's friend pictured here.
Ashton's Animals
Ashton was a beloved part of the RWC family who was taken too soon. Born with lifelong disabilities due to his birth mother’s prescription drug use, Ashton and his family fought hard against his struggles. With a supportive community and ongoing treatment, he was able to engage within the community and live a joyful life for several years at Ron Wilson Center.
Ashton loved animals his whole life, and to commemorate him, his mother Sheila Hagar set up “Ashton’s Animals.” This fund helps people with disabilities provide for the needs of their animals that often feel like family. Please consider making a donation. Or contact RWC for more information on how to apply for assistance.
