Positive Behavior Support Professional
PBSP I $25.00 - $29.00/hr (DOE) PBSP II $27.00 - $32.00/hr (DOE)
**Hiring for only one of the Positive Behavior Support Professional positions listed below.
PBSP II Is a current instructor of an ODDS approved behavior intervention curriculum and is able to write crisis strategies in PBSP's and TESP's
PBSP 1 Will need to obtain instructor certification in ODDS approved behavior intervention curriculum
The Positive Behavior Support Professional I (PBSP I) position is an important role assisting and supporting individuals who experience I/DD, especially those individuals who may require elevated supports due to behaviors that need intervention. With the supervision of the Behavior Department Supervisor, this position completes or modifies Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA), Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs), Staffing Guidelines or mental health supports in an on-going manner to ensure that the person centered supports meet the needs of the individual in accordance with OAR 411.304. A PBSP I may not author such supports as per OAR.) PBSP I ensures timely and accurate documentation, written plans, tracking, training, and implementation of plans for agency programs. PBSP I may assist on intakes, implements tracking systems, reviews and analyzes data, attends necessary appointments, meets with individuals supported, trains employees in one on one or group settings up to 40 people. The PBSP I position works closely with the Behavior Department Supervisor, other Behavior professionals, and members of management and office personnel, Direct Support Professionals, medical professionals, law enforcement (if applicable), family members or friends, and other ISP team members. The PBSP I demonstrates knowledge of professionalism, leadership, and respects the roles of management personnel and subordinates.

Education and Experience Requirements

Qualifications:
Candidates must possess one or more of the following credentials:

BCBA: Minimum of 1 year providing positive behavior supports.

Master’s Degree: Minimum of 1 year providing positive behavior supports.

Bachelor’s Degree: Minimum of 3 years providing positive behavior supports.
-
Equivalent Experience: A minimum of 6 years providing professional behavior services to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities prior to January 1, 2023.
Additional Requirements:

Maintain a minimum of 12 hours of training related to Positive Behavior Supports.

Receive and maintain training as a Mandatory Abuse Reporter.
-
Must be at least 18 years old.

Hold a current driver’s license, with an excellent driving record and proof of insurance.

Must have approval to work after passing a State of Oregon background check.
Additional Note:
Candidates selected for interviews will be required to complete a writing assignment, which must be submitted via email prior to the interview.

Position Summary:
The House Manager position is a mid-level management salaried, exempt supervisory position. The House Manager continues to learn the agency policies, procedures, and practices, its operating rules, and the expectations of a supervisor
while managing the daily operations of a site (or sites) within the Ron Wilson Center organization. The House Manager oversees the daily life activities of clients ensuring their health and safety through the supportive efforts of management
and DSPs. House Managers are responsible for DSP schedules, training and implementation of Individual Support Plans (ISPs); supports Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs); budgeting and money management; overseeing the individuals’ medical needs and emergency response. The House Manager is present, conducts and advocates for the clients in various meetings, i.e., ISP’s, county meetings, on-sites, agency meetings, etc. Qualified applicants understand and demonstrate leadership and professionalism within the agency, at various meetings, and within the community. Applicant will have management, leadership, and communication skills, computer skills, the ability to multi-task, work successfully in a team environment, be a positive team player and have experience and knowledge with the ISP/PBSP process, a working knowledge of OAR’s, one year of experience with ID/DD population desired and previous experience, and/or education and one year of management experience in similar field; have a working knowledge of, and adherence to, RWC policies, procedures, practices, OARs, and the RWC Employee Handbook.

● College degree can substitute for 1 year of experience

● Capable of responding to and handling emergencies
● 1+ years of experience in the developmental disability/mental health field is preferred.
● 1+ years of experience in a leadership/management position is preferred.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday: Day, Swing, Evening, Night shifts. On-Call. Overtime. Weekends: as needed.

Lifemap: Packages are free to the employee unless they choose Kaiser Added Choice or add a spouse/child to the plans. When an employee adds dependents, there is a payroll deduction. This requires the employee to work 60 days at full time hours (30 per week/130 per month). Then they are eligible the 1st of the following month. To remain on the insurance, the employee needs to maintain the 30 hours per week.
